I provide thorough, compassionate mental health care for most conditions and circumstances. However, you have a relational blueprint underlying your symptoms and challenges that can illuminate the origins of your struggles in unexpected and refreshing ways! Using an attachment-centered lens while acknowledging your innately brilliant wholeness, we will find a way through and forward that feels meaningful, purposeful, and quick to YOU! Most commonly, I see clients seeking support for anxiety, relationship challenges, C-PSTD, sexual trauma recovery, childhood trauma, life transitions, divorce, Cluster B personalities, and recovery from relationship abuse. I implement a variety of psychotherapeutic interventions. Examples are Gestalt, IFS, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive therapy, somatic therapy, art therapy, NARM, polyvagal, existential, and attachment psychotherapy.
Yes! Anxiety usually underlies most of the presenting concerns that individuals seek support for. Commonly, I help individuals who struggle with anxious attachment styles, previous abandonment traumas, and abandonment fears. I utilize attachment-based psychotherapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused coaching, to name a few of the modalities I implement in our work together.
Are you questioning if your relationship is toxic? Signs of a toxic relationship include constant criticism, emotional manipulation, verbal or physical abuse, frequent breaking up and getting back together, lack of support, continuous feelings of low self-worth, fear, and being drained or unhappy. If you're experiencing these issues, seeking help is crucial, yet couples therapy is not advised. I offer individual support and guidance for these relationships and can assist with a path forward from a seemingly hopeless cycle.
Yes! Many individuals come to my practice seeking relief and insight regarding their early childhood and family of origin wounding and trauma. Interestingly, our patterns here are long embedded and reveal themselves in our relationships, hijacking our desire for a secure relationship and fulfilling intimate connection. Through the use of trauma-informed and attachment-based psychotherapeutic approaches, we will uncover and illuminate the long-standing obstacles in the way of achieving self-compassion, increased self-worth, and a secure attachment.
